Dennis Griner - "State Teacher of the Year" & "Finalist for National Teacher of the Year" -

Congratulations to Dennis Griner, a teacher at Gar-Pal High School, for being named as the "State Teacher of the Year" by Terry Bergeson, State Superintendent of Public Instruction. The announcement was made on October 21, 2003 in Seattle.

On January 13, 2004, Mr. Griner was named one of the top four finalists for the "National Teacher of the Year" Award.
