Garfield and Palouse are seeking substitutes in the following areas: kitchen, custodial, para-educator, child care provider, certified, and bus drivers. Contact either school for more information.

Palouse is seeking an Assistant High School Track Coach

PARA-EDUCATORS -

Palouse is seeking either a 4 hour para-educator (8:15-10:15 and 12:00-2:00 same person preferred for both time slots) OR one person for 6.25 hours a day from 8:15-2:00.

Substitutes are needed for Para-Educators. If you are interested please call either Garfield School or Palouse School.

CHILD CARE WORKERS -

Palouse School District need someone to fill a Child Care Worker position. This is potentially a year round position. Hours and schedule will be dependent on the number of children enrolled. Positions may change dependent on enrollment. The following position is needed: School-age classroom - 6.5 hours from 11:00 until close/cleaning. Open February 26 until filled.

Professional Qualifications for Certificated Positions

• A valid Washington State Teacher Certificate with endorsements for the position listed.
• Professional appearance and judgment.
• Successful teaching experience.
• Demonstrated successful experience in position listed.
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff, parents, administrators, and community.
• Ability to collaborate as a team member with other staff members.
• Willingness to accept related duties as assigned by the principal and the superintendent.

Professional Qualifications for Para-educator Positions

• The candidate must have an AA degree or two years of college.

Salary and Benefits

• Certificated: Pay will be based on the placement on the Washington State LEAP schedule, depending on education and experience unless noted.
• Classified: Pay will be based on the placement on the classified salary schedule, depending on experience unless noted.
• Coaching/advisor: Pay will be based on the placement on the coaches salary schedule, depending on experience unless noted.
• Child Care Worker: Pay will be based on Washington state minimum wage. Benefits will begin with positions of 4 hours or more per day.
