Daily Bulletin

News from the Transportation Departure: Beginning on Tuesday, May 28^th thru Friday, May 31^st, we will be giving our new plan a trail run.  This will give us an opportunity to make adjustments as needed prior to next school year.

            The plan is as follows:

Elementary students:

            3:00p.m.-school dismissed, bus students report to bus recess

            3:20p.m. – students line up and go to bus loading area

            3:25p.m. – students load the bus

            3:30 p.m. – buses depart with K-12 students

MS/HS students:

            3:05 p.m. – school dismissed

            3:10p.m. – shuttle bus departs Palouse with Garfield HS students and departs Garfield with Palouse MS students

            3:16 p.m. – buses meet at Grinnell bus exchange

            3:23p.m. –buses arrive at Garfield and Palouse Schools

            3:25 p.m. – buses load with K-12 students

            3:30 p.m. – buses depart with K-12 students

The last week of school, June 3^rd thru June 6^th the buses will run on our normal schedule with the following exceptions:

            June 4^th -Half day HS only for finals

            June 5^th-Half day HS only for finals

            June 6^th –Last day of school, Garfield dismissed at a10:00 a.m., Palouse dismissed at 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday, May 21^st

Breakfast-cold or hot cereal, toast, pineapple

Lunch-BBQ pork sandwich or French dip sandwich, French fries, salad, fruit

11:30-12:00 noon –MS Teachers’ meeting/scheduling

5^th grade Science MSP testing

4^th grade Writing Day 2 MSP testing

5^th grade Girls Tea Party-Mrs. Brown

Wednesday, May 22^nd

Breakfast-cook’s choice

Lunch-chili dog or hot dog with chili, vegetables, fruit

11:00 a.m. pulling MS grades for Tribe points 4^th Term

11:30 a.m. ASB meeting/Mr. Russell

7^th grade Boys Group-4^th and lunchtime –Mrs. Brown (bring your own lunch-something to share chips/brownies/cookies

8^th grade all boys BB@ @Kamiak Butte –Mrs. Brown 3:00 -6:00 p.m.

Thursday, May 23^rd

Breakfast-muffin, yogurt, tropical fruit

Lunch-sloppy joes on a bun, green beans, salad, fruit

            Honor Roll Dessert 6:30 p.m. GPMS gym

            Dessert 6:30 p.m.

            Guest Speaker 6:45 p.m.

            Awards presentation 7:00 p.m.
