-              2:45 P.M.:  VB team released, bus leaves at 3:00 for Pomeroy; District VB team vs. Colton at

                                          6:00 P.M.  Winner plays at 7:30 vs. Pomeroy, loser plays in Colfax on Saturday

                                          at 10:00 A.M.

-              5:40 P.M.:  Activity shuttle departs Garfield; leaves Palouse at 6:00 P.M.

THURSDAY (6)

-              Lunch:  Teriyaki chicken; ALTERNATE salad bar

-              8:55 A.M.:  2nd through 5th grades released, bus leaves at 9:00 for rehearsal in Garfield for

                                          Veteran’s Day Assembly; return time approx. 10:15 A.M.

-              1:00 P.M.:  Retakes of school pictures; schedule to follow

-              8:50 A.M.:  1st through 5th grades and HS students released, buses leave at 8:55 for Veteran’s Day 

                                          Assembly in Garfield; return time approx. 11:00 A.M.

-              10:00 A.M.:  District VB tournament continues in Colfax

2. . . . . . .There will be an FCCLA meeting TODAY during lunch in Mrs. Jackson’s room.  All members please attend.


3. . . . . . .There will be a Knowledge Bowl meeting and practice tomorrow during lunch in Mr. Landle’s room.


4. . . . . . .Tomorrow night there will be a meeting at the SEL Event Center in Pullman, 7:00 to 8:30 P.M., for all interested students and parents who would like to learn about Robotics, the FIRST program, and the upcoming season.  This meeting is geared towards new recruits and their parents, including the new members that have been coming to meetings already this fall. 


Please spread the word and bring a friend or two.  Snacks and beverages will be served.  There will be a robot there for a demo, and students will present a brief PowerPoint and a slide show/video from last season.


5. . . . . . Any students who are planning on participating in winter sports will need to make sure they have their sports physical and a completed sports packet turned in BEFORE the first day of practice (mid November).  If you don’t have your paperwork in, you do not practice until you do.


6. . . . . . .JUNIORS:  The National College Fair is in Spokane on Wednesday, November 5.  Please submit your permission slip for the trip to Mrs. Mylett.  Please see Mrs. Mylett if you haven’t received or need a new form.
