SPECIAL JOINT BOARD MEETING - TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2002

The Garfield school board and the Palouse school board meetings were opened at 7:00 p.m. by Garfield board chairman Mike Cronk.

In attendance were: Garfield board members Mike Cronk, Jill Palmer, Roger Pennell, Warren Neal, and Craig Cochran. Palouse board members Kent Keller, Mike White, John Leendertsen, Jerry Schwartzman and Paula Echanove. Principal/Superintendent Beverly Fox, Principal/Assistant Superintendent Bill LaMunyan, and Business Manager Patsy Dunning.

Warren Neal and Paula Echanove moved to enter into executive session to discuss personnel matters. The motion passed unanimously.

The special joint meeting returned from executive session at 7:36 p.m.

The special joint meeting re-entered into executive session at 7:39 p.m. to discuss personnel matters further.

The special joint meeting returned from executive session at 9:20 p.m.

Patsy Dunning presented documents to show projections for fund balances and staffing. She also presented documents showing cost sharing for 1999-2000 and 2000-01.

There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
