Special Joint Board of Education

Thursday, March 15^th, 2007

Dinner began at 6:00 PM.

Board Chairman Ken Renstrom called the Joint Board to order at 7:12PM.

In Attendance: Ken Renstrom, Craig Cochran, Paul Hendrickson, Rusty Jamison, John Orfe, Val Fisher, John Leendertsen, Mike White

Also in Attendance: Superintendent/Principal Bill LaMunyan, Superintendent/Principal Bev Fox, Business Manager Frankie Swinney, and Reporter Neva Kuener

Item C (long-range planning meeting) was added to the agenda.  Item D (WIAA letter) was added to the agenda.  Discussion of the Board centered on long term planning and goal setting.

John Leendertsen reported to the Board that the WIAA letter had not been sent yet and asked for input whether it should have individual signatures or signed as the Garfield-Palouse Joint Board. The consensus was to sign it from the Joint Board to save time.  John Leendertsen stated that the letter would be sent.

With there being no further business the meeting was called adjourned at 9:20 PM.
