PALOUSE SCHOOL DISTRICT #301 - GARFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT #302

SPECIAL BOARD MEETING - JUNE 14, 2001

In attendance: Directors Mike Cronk, Roger Pennell, Warren Neal, Pam Shelden, John Leendertsen, Paula Echanove and Jerry Schwartzman (7:50 pm).  Superintendent Tami Hickle, Principal Bev Fox, Business Manager Patsy Dunning.

Mike Cronk called the Garfield Board meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.

The board went into executive session at 4:06 p.m. for approximately four hours to interview and consider principal candidates.

The meeting came out of executive session at 7:35 p.m.

The members went to break until 7:50 p.m. The Garfield board meeting was called back to order at 7:50 p.m.

Jerry Schwartzman entered the meeting at 7:50 p.m. John Leendertsen called the Palouse Board meeting to order at 7:50 p.m.

Paula Echanove made a motion to offer Bill LaMunyan the principal position for Palouse Elementary and Garfield-Palouse High School. The motion was seconded by John Leendertsen. The motion passed unanimously.

Pam Shelden made the same motion for the Garfield Board. Warren Neal seconded it and it passed unanimously.

There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
