·        2:45 P.M.:  High School students to retirement party for Mrs. Nelson (see schedule)

·        3:30 P.M.:  Retirement party for Mrs. Nelson

·        5:45 P.M from Palouse and 6:10 P.M. from Garfield:  Activity shuttle

SATURDAY (31)

·        1:00 P.M.:  Graduation of the Class of 2008

·        8:00 P.M:  ALL NIGHT DRUG-FREE GRADUATION PARTY STARTS IN THE UPPER GYM

MONDAY (2)

·        Lunch:  mini corndogs OR chicken nuggets OR chicken fry

·        1:00 P.M.:  Elementary Field Day

·        5:45 P.M from Palouse and 6:10 P.M. from Garfield:  Activity shuttle

TUESDAY (3)

·        Lunch:  pizza

·        1st and ¾ final tests for high school

·        10:30 A.M.:  Elementary students to Klemgard park/ return at 2:30 P.M.

·        11:30 P.M.:  Early release for high school; bus leaves at 12:00 noon

·        5:45 P.M from Palouse and 6:10 P.M. from Garfield:  Activity shuttle

WEDNESDAY (4)

·        Lunch:  big smokies OR hot pockets

·        2nd and 5/6 final tests for high school

·        11:30 P.M.:  Early release for high school; bus leaves at 12:00 noon

·        5:45 P.M from Palouse and 6:10 P.M. from Garfield:  Activity shuttle

·        6-9 P.M.:  Elementary AR pajama party!

THURSDAY (5)

·        LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!

·        8:30 A.M.:  Elementary “Caught Ya” assembly in the music room

·        10:30 A.M.:  All students released for the summer!

·        10:45 A.M.:  BUSSES LEAVE

 

1. . . . . .High school students are invited to have cookies with Mrs. Nelson on today to wish her well as she retires from Gar-Pal.  Teachers – please escort your students!  Here’s the schedule:

2. . . . . .High school students will be released at 11:30 A.M. both Tuesday and Wednesday to allow for extra study time for Wednesday's finals and extra time for teachers to correct exams.  Transportation will be provided to Garfield but not to routes in either Garfield or Palouse.  Please contact Mrs. Fox if you normally ride a route bus and will need a ride home. 

 

3. . . . . .Want a new ipod? Whitman County Library hosts Teen Summer Reading 2008. Submit one short book review at your local library or online at www.whitco.lib.wa.us and be entered in a drawing for an iPod nano or shuffle and receive a certificate of accomplishment. Book reviews may be submitted between June 1 - July 31, 2008. Increase your chances and submit multiple book reviews!
